At J. Carranca Redondo, Lda., the company that produces Licor Beirão, we respect the privacy of those who use our products and services, including the websites and applications we provide. In this document we refer to J. Carranca Redondo, Lda. as "J. Carranca Redondo", "we", "us" and "our"; and to you as "you", "your", "you" or "yours". This document, the "Privacy Policy", explains how we collect, process and store any personal data that belongs to you, i.e. information that allows us to identify you, such as your name, address, telephone number or email address. This information is referred to in this document as "personal information" or "personal data".

2. Information we collect, how we collect it and how we use it
2.1 Sites
Our websites can only be accessed by users who are of legal drinking age. For this reason, when you want to access our sites you must indicate whether you are of legal drinking age in your country. We only collect this information to allow you to access our sites. This information may be temporarily stored by the cookies we use so that the next time you visit our sites you don't have to do this again.

2.2 Newsletter subscription
If you choose to join our mailing list for newsletters, the e-mail address you give us will be forwarded to 10.digital, J. Carranca Redondo's digital marketing partner. In turn, 10.digital uses the services of Mailchimp. This platform manages J. Carranca Redondo's newsletter databases and allows them to be managed more efficiently. The e-mail address you provide us with will be stored in J. Carranca Redondo Lda.'s own database at first and then uploaded to Mailchimp until you ask us to remove your e-mail address from the list of subscribers to our newsletters. You can do this by selecting the link included at the end of our newsletter emails or, if you prefer, you can send us an email requesting removal to the following email address: comercial@licorbeirao.com
2.3 Underage data
We do not contact or collect information from individuals under the legal drinking age intentionally. If you become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so that we can obtain appropriate parental consent or remove the information.

3. Will we share the information with third parties?
J. Carranca Redondo subcontracts third parties to process some of the personal data collected. The companies we contract are carefully chosen to ensure that they have implemented the necessary procedures to comply with data protection legislation.
We list below the companies that are subcontracted by J. Carranca Redondo, as well as the data and the purposes for which the data is communicated to them:

1. Dascat Software, Lda. (under the brand name 10.digital) - this company publicizes our marketing and advertising campaigns and manages the competitions that J. Carranca Redondo runs. Data processing by Dascat Software is safeguarded by the Data Processing Agreement between J. Carranca Redondo and Dascat Software Lda. This document outlines access to data, as well as procedures and good practices aimed at minimizing the risk of improper access to your data, as well as information leaks.
2. The Rocket Science Group (under the Mailchimp brand) - Company that provides the platform used to create, manage and send J. Carranca Redondo's newsletters. Privacy Policy.
3. Meta Platforms Ireland Limited - Company that owns the social networks (Facebook.com and Instagram.com) used by J. Carranca Redondo for promotion and dissemination. Your relationship with Facebook is governed by the platforms' own privacy policy Facebook Privacy
4. Google Ireland Limited - Company that owns several products and a vast online advertising network, used by J. Carranca Redondo for promotion and dissemination. Its relationship with Google is governed by its Privacy Policy.

J. Carranca Redondo may change the list of subcontractors at any time.
We do not share your data with other companies, for the purposes mentioned above or otherwise.

4. How do we protect your personal information?
We have implemented the necessary security measures to ensure the confidentiality of the personal data we collect and process, as well as to prevent unauthorized disclosure, unauthorized access, loss or destruction of personal data. It should be noted, however, that no security or encryption method can guarantee total protection of information against hackers or human error.

5. Your rights in relation to your personal information
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, elimination, limitation and/or portability by means of a written communication, accompanied by a document proving your identity and/or the data to be rectified, if applicable, which should be sent to the following e-mail address: comercial@licorbeirao.com
Opposition to the processing of data referred to herein which is communicated to J. Carranca Redondo after the start of the processing will only take effect from the date of receipt of such communication and will not affect the legitimacy of the processing carried out until then.
With regard to exercising the right to data portability, please note that, under the terms of the applicable legislation, this only applies to data collected on the basis of your consent.

3. when in good faith we believe it is necessary to protect our rights or property;

This Privacy Policy was last updated on August 31, 2024 but may change from time to time. If the Privacy Policy changes, we will post a notice on our websites. If the change affects registered users, we will send a notification via email, push notification or text.
